The Oceania Squash Federation is committed to improving the standard of refereeing and marking in the Oceania Region, in addition to promoting a greater knowledge of the rules of both Singles and Doubles Squash.
Prior to previous Pacific Games and Oceania Championships we have conducted Rules Accreditation courses for the host country and other players attending who are interested in refereeing. Many of the players across the Region attained Club Referee status during these courses. |
However, rules have change over the years and it is important for those players to refresh so they become more confident and knowledgeable on the Rules of Squash and can help their fellow club members.
With the arrival of the electronic age, online courses are now available and are more readily accessible to anyone interested in either becoming a referee or just learning more of the rules to help them on court.
The Oceania Squash Federation, in conjunction with Squash Australia, are offering a Club Referee online course free-of-charge to participants from the smaller island Member Countries.
Any player interested in gaining their Referee Accreditation, or just learning more about the Rules of Squash, is encouraged to talk to your Association Committee to gain access to this program.
Member Countries are urged to encourage more of their players to take on this offer.

World Squash Officiating
The World Squash Federation, in partnership with the PSA, have embarked on a world-wide structure to handle referee training, qualification, development and assessment.
The World Squash Officiating Advisory Board have been working for some time on developing a global online referee course. Significant work on the configuration of the WSO website has been progressing and this resource is expected to be available in early 2021.
WSF is anticipating that this online resource will be used as a centralised platform for worldwide squash officiating.
