Norfolk Island is in the south-western Pacific Ocean, 1,676 kilometres northeast of Sydney, Australia. The Island is about 8 kilometres long and 5 kilometres wide and has a population of approximately 1,700. English is the official language although the locals also speak Norfuk dialect. The evergreen Norfolk Island Pine is a symbol of the island and features on their national flag.
The Norfolk Island Squash Association is a founding member of the Oceania Squash Federation and an Associate Member of the World Squash Federation. It has a long history of squash on the Island. The club holds weekly competitions for both male and female players and has a strong junior program.
Norfolk Island Squash hosts the annual Norfolk Island Masters that attracts players from throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Oceania Region. The event is normally held in September of each year.
There are 2 squash courts at the Norfolk Island Leagues Club in Kingston. Visitors to the Island are welcome to use the facilities. Courts can be accessed through the Leagues Club or contact one of the committee listed below.
